A note on licence numbers
Every Australian state requires a licensed electrician to show their licence number on quotes and invoices, and most US states require the state contractor licence number on billing documents. In the UK it works differently — electricians are not licensed at all, so what customers look for is competent-person scheme registration (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA).
Spanner does not have a dedicated licence-number field yet. It is on the roadmap. For now it can go in your business details, which appear on every invoice alongside your business name and ABN or VAT number. If a dedicated field is essential to you today, Tradify has one — worth knowing before you pick.
